This collection will provide soundscape recordings ready to use for teachers in their classes.

You can listen directly online or download each sound with its fiche and image by clicking on the download button. Once downloaded, open the compressed file or right-click to extract its content.

At The Campsite

BBQ  party

You can hear sounds of a roaring fire, people talking away, neighbour cutting grass in his garden and a car going by.

 

Fire Party

You can hear sounds of a roaring fire and people standing around the fire warming up sausages and talking away.

 

Opening the garden shed

You can hear opening of a paddle lock on a garden shed and the door opening.

 

Opening the tent

You can hear a tent being opened with a zip and then footprints of someone stepping into the tent.

Tent pegs

You can hear a bag with tent pegs being opened up and emptied on the floor.

Tent poles

You can hear a bag with tent poles being opened up and emptied on the floor. Then you can here the poles being clicked into each other to make a long pole.

Unfolding the tent

You can hear a bag with tent being opened up using a zip and then all of the tent being taken out of the bag and unfolded on the ground.

We can clearly hear the strong impact of the water of Niagara Falls.

You can hear strong gusts of wind characteristic of the coastal areas.

You can hear the sounds of birds.

You can hear walking forest road gravel and grass.

Hike near river

You can hear walking near flowing water.

Hiking in nature

You can hear walking in nature, birds singing and the river approaching.

River in mountains

You can hear walking river in the mountains.

Walking in the forest

You can hear someone walking through a forest, stepping on twigs/small sticks and leaves. The person stops twice, perhaps looking for mushrooms. Towards the end, the person whistles their dog, and the dog can be heard approaching as it breathes heavily and runs through the undergrowth.
