PROJECT RESOURCES

The project will produce results available in the 5 languages of the partnership (CS, DA, EN, FR, PL).

GOAL:  Our goal is to make reading accessible to primary education students by developing learners’ vocabulary through multi-sensory learning based on sounds.

Pedagogical framework

This is the knowledge base that the partnership will create throughout the project’s duration. The intended result is the production of a methodology and resources for teachers and families.

During the project, we will create a pedagogical guide and the following materials:

1. Benefits of using Sound in Education Booklet

This guide will describe, analyse and explain the benefits of using sounds in primary education to reinforce language acquisition.

2. Collection of Soundscapes and models

This collection will provide soundscape recordings ready to use for teachers in their classes. The collection will also include short sequences and model usages to help the teachers to structure their lessons easily.

3. Audio stories and pedagogical sequences

Teachers will be able to use the pre-recorded audio stories and the pedagogical sequences to show them how to recreate their own stories.

All the learning tools will be tested and approved by teachers and students. Then, we will share the resources for free with anyone who wants to contribute to improving young people’s knowledge and skills in literacy and reading teaching.
